Happy Customer
With enormous gratitude to our savvy and talented new friend Jamila Morcel, who took the lead on design, and to Amy Pedid, who provided guidance, input, and support, we're proud to announce the rollout of the official DateKeepers logo.
Adaptability
A single color works with this design. accentuating the critical negative space phenomenon. This makes it a powerful logo. Seen from afar (zoomed out), the logo would still be reconizable. If you zoom in, you will notice the dates, also made out of the nagtive sapce delimited by the hands. If you don't believe me, google date palm trees.
Logo Elements
Positive shapes: the date palm tree massive leaves and the hands reaching out to pick up the (hidden) dates.
Negative space: the arms delimit the tree trunk, and the hands at the tip of the arms delimit the dates that spring out of from underneath the leaves.
Perspective: the tree trunk is slightly larger at the bottom than at the top (when seen from up close).
This logo incorporated all the complex and deep symbolisms my clients wanted elegantly.
